Revival of Live Event Broadcasts in Cinemas

Live event broadcasts have been making a welcome return to our cinema screens in some numbers of late, following the decline during covid times, and at Links Broadcast we are very pleased to be a part of this. In recent months we have seen a charity premier from Cineworld Leicester Square, a Q&A from the same cinema, a James Blunt Q&A from PictureHouse Central, and most recently a live Q&A from The Barbican. In all of these events we either live stream the feed to our uplink facility or we uplink directly from site, providing all of the technical facilities, the satellite capacity, and also a helpdesk to assist the cinema operators in making sure that they successfully receive the broadcast. We are very pleased to see the return of these events and we are looking forward to many more in the future. If you have a live cinema broadcast or any event that requires live transmission or production then please do get in touch.
