LiveU
LiveU bonded cellular technology has transformed the delivery of live video content in recent years and at Links Broadcast we have been at the forefront of this technological development. Our portable backpack units include the LiveU LU600 and LU800 units and these combine with our receiver units to provide a full end-to-end service for live transmissions. The LiveU units provide a flexible and cost effective means of delivering high quality video content at high speed and with low delay. Operating via multiple mobile SIMs or utilising a wifi/broadband connection, the units can be dry-hired or can be provided with our ENG/PSC camera facilities and operator, or they can be combined with OB production facilities to provide an alternative transmission path.
Teleport Services
Wherever in the world you need your content delivered to or from Links Broadcast can get it there. We have extensive experience in teleport facilities including uplinks, downlinks, fibre connectivity, BT Tower connectivity and full satellite turnarounds. So, for international delivery in Ku band, Ka band or C band in SD, HD or 4K we have the required connectivity, with satellite capacity available across the full range of satellites, from just a few kilobits up to a full transponder. Our team has experience in installing satellite facilities and in decommissioning dish installations.
