A huge thanks to all of you for your time and effort in making this year’s CBI Annual Conference such a great success – thank you! Please pass on my thanks to all of your teams. John Cridland (CBI Director-General) came and found me at the end of the conference to personally say thanks and in his own words “it was seamless” – well done to all of us! Looking forward to working together again soon.

Can I just take this opportunity to thank you and your team very much for the service you provided. Everyone we dealt with was excellent - extremely helpful and very professional.

I would like to mention Mark and Carl did a great job in Manchester. It was a pleasure working with these two gentlemen, and Links in general. I [We] look forward to future endeavors.

Thanks all for making last night a terrific event. Fox Digital exec said it was the best live stream we’ve done, so thanks for being a part of the monumental effort in making it all happen.
Rufus Roubicek | Matchbox TV
A note of heartfelt thanks to all of you for your tireless efforts and support over the past few days to deliver the broadcasts for the “Proms in Parks” and “Last Night of the Proms”.
As always this takes a huge amount of planning and co-ordination as well as close attention to detail in delivery from many, many departments and operations across the BBC’s family and I am indebted to you and your teams for much hard work.
I want to pass on to you the best wishes and thanks that were sincerely expressed by Edward Blakeman in his speech after the concert to the technical teams for the last night and for the whole Proms season.
In her introduction “I bought me a cat” in the hall Marin Alsop invoked the help of the “technology gods” and I am relieved to say that they smiled upon us last night with a flawless delivery of all transmission outputs across our many networks. The engineering teams working for the BBC are, of course, atomised into lots of different companies these days, but I am proud to say that we are still able to deliver as “one BBC”. I know how much effort what we did took, and what a great team you all are to work with!
Peter Taylor | Production Engineering Manager, BBC Music Television
I just wanted to say that after an heroic shift by Craig which lasted some 7 hours we achieved link up with Gaza and the show went ahead. I was extremely pleased with the results and I was particularly impressed by Craig and his colleague who never gave up even when the going seemed too tough.
They made 400 people in Gaza feel connected to the Edinburgh festival and that connection meant an awful lot. The people there cannot leave and so connections like this are genuinely important to their spirits and sense of dignity. That is no small thing. I can tell you that we made the news across the middle east! You also allowed a small audience in Edinburgh to share an experience that left many of us feeling deeply moved.

"Just wanted to drop you a quick line to highlight the excellent job Mark and Carl did on the athletics in Birmingham today.
Conditions were difficult as an electric storm passed through meaning the dish on the main circuit was at full power and we lost the 4-wire via ADSL. Mark immediately established 4G comms keeping the gallery in touch with MCR and highlighted the PC would need to do a timing check so they closed the show with the correct delay. We remained on air throughout without any impact and I felt thoroughly supported and confident during transmission. Please pass on our thanks and gratitude to all necessary parties at your end."

"I just wanted to say a massive thank you for everything you did for the Saturday Night Takeaway team on Saturday night, it was extremely appreciated at our end. From my point of view it was very reassuring to know that you guys had everything covered and were professional as ever. Thank you again."

"I want to say a huge thanks to everyone at Links Broadcast who all had a part to play in making last Thursday the historic broadcast moment it was...I know that it was not a plain sailing for a lot of the time, but when we are pushing the boundaries of technology it never is going to be. But the way it was tackled by all of your team so enthusiastically and flexibly was brilliant. You, Andy and Mark took the glory on site, but please do make sure that all those in support in base also get their due credit. Thanks again to everyone at Links Broadcast for helping the National Theatre and CBS take the broadcast limelight for a brief moment."

"Just a quick email to thank you so much for all of your help today. Despite the difficulties that came with it - we pulled through and it was a really great, buzzy and exciting live feed! Samia looked fantastic too! I so appreciate your help in working with us on achieving what was needed."
Lily Evans | ITV Studios
"The event went extremely well and the client has asked me to pass on their thanks for all the hard work involved. I would also like to personally thank you and your team for all your hard work and the professionalism involved throughout the whole project. Mark was brilliant and we all thoroughly enjoyed working with him and his team. They made our lives very easy and really put the clients mind at ease throughout...We thoroughly enjoyed working with you on this project and hope that this is going to be one of many we work on together in the future."

"I just wanted to say how thankful we are to you and your entire team. The Spiderman Launch at Leicester Square was a big success and your hard work was a big part of that. Hopefully there will be another production in London soon and we can work together again."
Matt Cohen | Black Diamond Media
"I just wanted to say a big thank you to each of you for a great OB today. Messages back from Kensington Palace have all been positive and they all have said what a wonderful crew you were... The best experience they have had with crews."
Viviana White | ITV
"I just wanted to take a moment and thank all of you for your hard work and professionalism during our Royal Wedding coverage. NY has indicated to me they are very pleased with all we were able to produce in terms of programming and content – leading up to and during the event. Each of you brought the highest level of experience and patience to the entire event. You turned an empty shell (tent) into a working production centre. As your colleague, I continue to be amazed at your ability to create something out of nothing –and make it all look easy. (ok, easy-ish)
So I thank you again for your willingness to work the hours, deal with the conditions, and trouble shoot as we worked out the kinks – and sometimes translated English into “American”. We can provide all the editorial in the world, but we never forget that without your efforts, we’re basically doing really expensive radio! As they say in the UK (circa 1942) - WELL DONE CHAPS!"
Kim Miller | Fox News London
"Could we just pass on our gratitude for all your efforts on Sunday. Several people from Radio Humberside have spoken to me about how well their side of things went and despite a few problems with our phones in the evening, making the reverse audio a little shaky for a few minutes, the live inserts from Wembley looked great on our programme. Thanks to everyone at Links for making it go so smoothly (or as smoothly as live broadcasts go)."
Kate Childs | BBC
"Just want to drop a note on what a great job the guys did at Cannes! All the networks all sang the praises of the professionalism of Andy Foster and Mark Coulthurst. Job well done! As always many thanks and with much gratitude!"
Sherry Cheng | Fox News Channel/FBN
"I'm very happy with everything from Links Broadcast, it was a very slick operation and your engineers were a pleasure to work with."

Thanks so much for all the great work this year, especially the EU Ref which had challenges of being a multi-channel event, floods on Abingdon Green, and incredibly long hours. Your team was absolutely brilliant, as always, and we can't thank you enough.

Thanks to you all who helped make yesterday’s broadcast a tremendous success for CBS and ultimately for the Grosvenor family.
Everything worked perfectly, with no small thanks to the professionalism of Andy and Dave on site and the team in Harlow supporting them behind the scenes.
As ever, it is a real pleasure to be working with you all again and this job was a little different, but still delivered with a dedication to professionalism and perfection.
